چکیده :
The main challenge regarding the power consumption of the complexes is the design and estimations beyond their required capacity. The data obtained from the utilization rate of power distribution transformers indicates that, in most cases, the actual power consumption of consumers is much less than the demand calculated by the designers. Therefore, the proposed method in this article is to design a program in Excel software to estimate the power consumption of residential, commercial, and office buildings. This program includes the cooling load evaluation section, lighting, plug-in sockets, elevators, escalators, and water pumps. The program has estimated the power consumption of the units and the common loads separately. The results show that the estimated power usage for the units and the common loads is reasonably close to the actual numbers. Furthermore, the findings indicate that the kind of cooling system and the presence of gas in the building are the most significant factors contributing to an increase in residential unit power consumption
